Vampires are always assumed to be a demonic and satanic form because of their blood-drinking ability. Though they are considered scary evil creatures, people still find them very fascinating. The first vampire called The Dracula is said to originate from Ancient Babylon.
The novel “Dracula” was published in the year 1897 authored by Bram Stoker. After this novel was published, vampire stories received a huge fan following. Not only were there books written on vampires, but also movies made. The vampire stories came into existence in the 1800’s itself, but only after Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the vampire stories got a big boom.
The 19th century is commonly called the vampire century, for a lot of vampire stories came up during that period. Earlier they were considered evil creatures who found pleasure only in killing and nothing else. Now this concept has changed, and the vampires have taken the role of love boys.
Vampires are supposed to be very beautiful creatures to whom humans get easily attracted. The most recent vampire series is the twilight saga, which has four books; Twilight, New moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
This series of vampire stories have comedy, adventure, and love, the combination of these makes many people read the books or at least watch the film. In addition, people watch these movies irrespective of age, old or young everybody watches or reads this wonderful vampire story.
Morbius Vampire Movie
Morbius is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel. Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, it is intended to be the third film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.
The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa, written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and stars Jared Leto as Michael Morbius alongside Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. In the film, Morbius becomes a vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease.
After announcing plans for a new shared universe of films inspired by Spider-Man characters beginning with Venom (2018), Sony began developing one based on Morbius. Sazama and Sharpless had written a script by November 2017.
Leto and Espinosa officially joined in June 2018. Work began in earnest at the end of the year with further casting, ahead of a production start in February 2019 in London. Filming was confirmed to have been completed by June 2019.
