Create a European Resume Format
Create a European CV online: Writing a resume is a very important topic in this journey of finding the job you are looking for.
In any industry, the first appearance and content of your resume is a definite factor in the application process for an interview. It is also important to create a resume that reflects your professional image.
Although there is no one CV better than another, no clear rules dictate the “taste” of the employer – there are guidelines that are common to the same CV. These guidelines reflect the need for conciseness, practicability, and efficiency in the business world in which we live.
With that in mind, I’ve put together a list of tips divided into two categories: content and structure. These should help you write your resume and be one step ahead of your competitors. You can also download Exemple De CV
CV content
The content of your European resume should be simple and concise. Here are some guidelines for selecting the content of your resume:
- Research the employer’s prospects and find out what job requirements you want to apply for.
- Include only information relevant to the job application. Writing a resume is a recipe for applicants.
- Choose a formal and structural style and keep it throughout the content of the document. Consistency is the keyword for this formula.
- Make sure you check for any spelling mistakes before handing them in.
European Resume structure
The structure of the European CV varies in style. There is no “right” structure; that is why it is important to focus on maintaining your preferred structure in the best professional way:
- A structure option is based on three main methods: chronological, functional, and their combination.
- The chronological CVs list the professional experience according to the data, starting with the last job. Chronological resumes look good if your career has been progressive and you plan to continue in the same style.
- Functional CVs describe the skills you used at work. Functional resumes work well when you don’t have much experience or when you have had several positions in the companies where you worked. These resumes are based on the skills you have acquired over time.
- The first impression of the employer regarding your CV is the way of his professional presentation. Use discreet colors, and do not abuse the use of graphics, symbols, tables in the CV. Visual simplicity is what employers expect.
